Aside from local businesses, their close friends also pitched in to make their dream wedding possible. Mark Parsons, the fire department’s photographer, took photos, while Chris Mobley, paramedic and training officer at Makenzie’s fire station, got ordained so he could be the minister at this wedding.
Chuck Couch, a friend from only one mile down the road, was the DJ for the reception and Tony Wall, a musician at Antioch Church, played piano at the ceremony. Another church friend made big cornhole boards for guests to sign as they arrived at the wedding.
The wedding party arrived to the ceremony in a John Deere tractor.
