Engagement and Content Preferences
When looking at content preferences by engagement profiles, a few interesting points stick out:
• Across all profiles job-specific training reigned as the most preferred.
• Hostile employees were the least likely to choose academic learning. Only 5 percent selected it as being their favored content type.
• However, disengaged employees were the most likely to choose academic learning, with 19 percent selecting it as the content type most interesting to them.
• Interest in people skills was higher among engaged and hostile employees, while less interesting to those in the middle groups. Of the engaged employees, 17 percent selected people skills, and nearly 22 percent of hostile employees selected people skills.
