The study analyzed four types of learning content: academic learning, job- or field-specific training, people/soft skills, and technology training. Job-specific training was preferred by 53.94 percent of the survey respondents, followed by technology training (19.71 percent), people/soft skills (16.27 percent), and academic learning (9.91 percent). Though the least amount of interest was shown in academic learning, the next section reveals high interest in tuition reimbursement for college credit, which indicates people are interested in academic learning as long as it is related to their specific field.
