Obituary

Johnny Louis Glenn, affectionately known as Bobby, was born on Septem-
ber 29, 1951 in Barbour County, Alabama. He was the first child born to the
late Willie Henry Glenn and his first wife, Rose Alice Burks. After his par-
ents divorced, Johnny was raised by his father and step-mother (Quincella).

Johnny attended Clio High School in Alabama. Seeking his destiny, Johnny
briefly lived in Chicago, Illinois before settling in Miami, Florida where he
attended Miami Lakes Technical College, earning his commercial driver’s
                          license (CDL).

                          Johnny worked various jobs, prior
to earning his CDL’s. He was a
                          truck driver for over 30 years;
                          however, his true passion was
                          ministry.

In 1971, Johnny dedicated his life
                          to Christ, eventually becoming an
                          ordained minister of the gospel
                          under United Christian Church of
Christ, where he was an obedient
                          servant of God.

On December 11, 1976, he mar-
ried his best friend, Sheba Peter-
son; together they raised 11 chil-
                          dren, including his sister, Earline
                          and their grand-daughter,
                          Kytwana. Johnny and Sheba were
a team in raising their children
and spreading the gospel. He was
                          passionate about ministering to
                          the whole person.
