P. 7
If ever a woman loved a man,
Then surely this woman loved you
You were my love, my companion,
My confidante, my friend and beau
We have lived and loved together
Through many changing years;
We have shared each other's joy
And wept each other's tears;
I have known never a sorrow
That was long unsoothed by you;
For your smiles were like sunshine
That bathed my darkest days in a bright
hue
No words I write can ever convey
How much I miss you every
day.
I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name,
But all I have are memories
And photos in a frame.
No one knows my sorrow,
No one sees me weep,
But the love I have for you
Is in my heart to keep.
I'll never stopped loving you
I'm sure I never will;
Deep inside my heart,
You are with me still.
There is a place in my heart
That no one else can fill;
I love you so, Dear,
And I always will.
