My Daddy-
He was a man’s man, medium in
stature but large at heart. Not a
pushover, yet humble in his ap-
proach. Stood strong for what he
believed in, GOD, family, and
friends. At times it may have
seemed he was a bit reserved, but
I’d like to think he was trying to
keep calmed nerves. I can vividly
hear his cliche expression ”Boy,
Man look’a here” with his gold
teeth smile. I'm truly gonna miss
not having him around for a
while. But now I optimistically
speak of a future time without
expiration where we can be to-
gether again, him and all right-
eous men. He's taught us so much... I'm the man that I am be-
cause of him, my walk my smile because of him. I stand up
without fear because of him. And because of him, I won't
stop, I’ll praise JAH until my heart stops, because in the end, I
know I'm gonna see my POPs! - Taurisac

mentor and leader in

my life who always
put God first and

taught me that no
matter what, God had
