b. Virus bentuk ikosahedron (Polyhedral). Virus bentuk

ikosahedron (poligon 20 sisi) atau polihedral dijumpai pada

virus adenovirus (penyebab demam). Dan merupakan virus

terkecil yang memiliki ukuran 18-20 nm (Campbell, 2002).

c. Virus berpelindung (enveloped). Virus berpelindung mempunyai

pembungkus luar dari lipoprotein, glikoprotein atau kombinasi

lipoprotein dan glikoprotein dan biasanya berbentuk bulat

dengan diamter 60-300 nm. Contohnya pada virus influenza

(Campbell, 2002).
