1. Mouth Disorders

a. Parotid or mumps is an infectious
disease caused by a viral infection. The
infection usually attacks the parotid
gland (a gland that produces saliva),

causing swelling. A common symptom
when a person has mumps is swelling
of the cheeks and jaw.
b. Xerostomia is the production of a very (a) (b)
little saliva. Xerostomia can be caused

not drinking enough water.

2. Stomach Disorders

a. Gastritis is an acute inflammation of the stomach lining due to dirty food.
b. Maag is a disorder characterized by discomfort in the stomach which is
generally mild and appears when consuming certain foods or drinks, and
when eating too late. Maag can be overcome by improving your diet and
avoiding the things that trigger them.
c. GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) is a disease characterized by
the rise of acid from the stomach into the esophagus (esophagus).
Indigestion is caused by loose or not closing the valve between the
esophagus and stomach properly.
