A SOLAR STILL
We never knew about a solar still until we were taught in Mrs Williams Science class.
A solar still is a green energy product that uses the natural energy of the sun to purify water.
Solar stills are then able to supply pure water for drinking and cooking, even in areas where
there are no other sources of energy, while still being friendly to the environment.
How does it happen?
The salt water is evaporated by sunlight shining through clear plastic. The evaporated water
vapour condenses and drips down into the smaller container, where it is collected and removed.
The sun's energy heats water to the point of evaporation. Therefore a solar still is a healthy,
