ENTRAPMENT

I’m beginning to feel trapped, nowhere to go, I
have to stay here,

“Starting tomorrow we would be enforcing lock-
down rules, as to protect the health and safety of
the citizens of this very nation and for people all
around the world. Any breaches of the lockdown
would lead to a serious fine from the government.
Thank you and good night”

I fall backwards unto my couch and stare blankly
at the television.

I don’t think I can stay at home for a month.

I pick up the remote and change the channel to
something that’ll clear up my mind…
