summit. Now the words “just a little
more”... sound real..... We had
now ‘offi cially made it’, absorbed,
cemented a miniscule of what we
felt in some photographs and THEN
the idea of the hard descent strikes!!!

I try to ease the feelings by telling
myself, I’d just enjoy the descent by
absorbing nature without running
against time. In the background
I can hear my knees, they were
screaming in violent disagreement !
Anddd we begin the descent, this
time no breaks just one long journey,
revisiting each and every boulder.

And fi nally we were in the familiar
world of roads, comfy beds and WiFi !!!! With thoughts of gratitude towards the power of nature,
body, health and all the people who had wished me well before this trek whose aura kept it all
well and bright for me.

Ever grateful to Rajan for organising this memorable experience. And Kruta for inspiring me to
put it into words.
