                                            Baisakhi



                                             Celebration































































                aisakhi marks the formation of khalsa panth and the first day of new sikh year. People celebrate
                Baisakhi in the joy of the preparation of Crop like wheat, pulses, oilseed and sugarcane. Bhangra
        Band Gidda are the centres of attraction among many eye catching events of Baisakhi. This festival
        serves as a proof to the famous phrase, UNITY IN DIVERSITY.

        Cambrian celebrated Baisakhi with enthusiasm and excitement commencing it with the morning assembly
        and then a brief about various aspects of this festival of harvest. The purpose was to help pupils to learn
        the significance of this special day.
        Students  of  classes  III  to  VI  came  dressed  in  traditional  Punjabi  colourful  outfits  with  ornaments  &
        accessories and celebrated this festival by reciting Gurbani and shabad followed by Bhangra.
        Students of Primary classes showcased their skills by creating decorative pots,dhols,vases  and pictures
        related to the festival.
        The celebration was an effort to create an awareness amongst our pupils about their rich culture and
        heritage.
