Mrs Sue Goffin, Lincolnshire Area Commissioner British Driving Society

We hosted two rallies while living at Ivy House. As I have mentioned, each BDS local
member was to host a rally in his or her locality in rotation. At the time Sue was
Commissioner the Lincolnshire Branch was flourishing and there were sufficient members
to provide different venues so that “your” turn did not come up more than once in two
            years or so.
Our most memorable was based at Horncastle starting at the station yard where our tyre
distribution business at that time had its office and centre of operation. Ivor Bush the tyre
retailer and our immediate neighbour at Horncastle, very kindly opened his large depot for
us to lay out tables for the meal afterwards.
