Before the actual show began, we inspected the military displays. We searched inside
tanks and mini submarines.
Found out the workings of field guns and armoured cars. We even found a “link trainer” for
young aviators to try their hand at flying.

Being interested in horses, our personal objective was the stables for the mounted band of
the Household Cavalry.
Their drum horses were to be on show at an appointed time and we were in the front of the
crowd.
