To ensure that you can work safely, you must have in your possession a personal lock
                  (with  a  single  key)  which  can  be  clearly  identified  as  your  lock  for  the  purpose  of
                  isolation and depending on circumstances a “multi-hasp” to allow more than one lock
                  to be applied to the isolation point.

               Yellow boards like this one can be found in the offices or mess rooms at our sites.

               Contractors are also expected to use and follow lock off procedures and isolation on site.
               Please ensure that they are working safely.

                   •  Never allow anyone else to remove your lock – under any circumstances.
                   •  Never rely on someone else’s lock applied to an isolation point to make the equipment

                      safe while you work on it – it could be removed at any time and the equipment started
                      while you are still working.
                   •  Never rely on emergency stops or pull wires to make equipment safe for working – they
                      can be reset without your knowledge.

               The Company has implemented procedures in accordance with The Electricity at Work
               Regulations 1989 to ensure that all fixed, portable and transportable electrical equipment
               and  installations  are  correctly  inspected  and  maintained  by  competent  and  approved
               external contractors.

                                EXERCISE CARE AND VIGILANCE AT ALL TIMES.

            25.1.3 Internal access to electrical main control panels


            Only Managers  or site Foreman are allowed to  access the  electrical
            control panels to reset breakers, no other member of staff should access
            these pieces of equipment.

            Failure to follow this instruction will lead to disciplinary action taken.
