Using the fall arrest system and Harnesses
NOTE: When working at height either in the telescopic boom or using the fall arrester,
this Safe System of Work must be followed;
a) All operators
must wear the
safety harness
when using the
fall arrester or
the telescopic
boom. To
ensure they are
fitted correctly,
wearers should
follow the
diagrams
below;
After the wearer
has followed
diagrams 1 to 9,
then diagram 10
shows how it will look when all straps are tightened.
Secure the harness across the front with the 2 straps and buckles as shown in A and B.
