Short Story
Hardworking vs. Lazy
One summer day, Lazy Boy was hopping around in a field, chirping and
singing to the content of his heart. A Hardworking Boy walked by; with an
ear of corn he was carrying to his nest with considerable effort.
Why don't you come and talk with me," the Lazy Boy asked, "instead of
toiling away with your life?
"I am helping to store up food for the winter," said the Hardworking Boy,
"and I recommend you to do the same."
"Why bother about winter?" the Lazy boy Asked. "We have got plenty of
food at present."
