Take out some of your of precious time to have a read Richard’s message. It’s displayed on
the last page.
Since inception and over the previous 25 years the CYAA has sustained a strong classic
yacht racing program. We need to work on the ways and means to support the direction
Richard has outlined to keep our classic yacht ethos and mission strong and on the world
stage.
From a classic yacht racing perspective we can now start sponsor naming of our races. This
option applies to all races conducted by the CYAA .
To our lapsed classic yacht owner members, consider your classic’s provenance. Re-join
the CYAA and have your boat re-listed on the CYAA Boat Register.
From my experience with the CYAA’s racing program, I know how important the CYAA
and its mission is to many people and their families over several generations.
We need the bodies to step up and support our President’s plans sustain the CYAA’s
mission for the next 25 years.
