Excerpt from Akala’s log. Sunday 17th July 2022.
Northern Port Phillip waters 2:00 pm before the Westerly front
arrived. Wind around 20 knots.
When the front arrived we had to stay out. Try entering RMYS
in 30+ knots!
Gusting up to 35 on our instruments. Boom dragging in the water
on occasions as we beared away.
We returned once the wind had dropped to around 20 knots.
Cobwebs all cleared out.
