RYCV Crewman of the year award
What a great way to
recognise the longtime
support David McKenzie
has given to the Mercedes
III racing program.
Aside from her CYAA
racing program, Mercedes
III is a regular participant
in RYCV mid week racing
and the many Mercedes III
tilts at Cock of the Bay
glory. Through out these
campaign’s David has been
the back bone of the
Mercedes III team.
A well deserved note of
congratulations from the
CYAA for the recognition
by the RYCV of David’s
contribution to Victorian
yachting and his support of
Mercedes III.
On Sunday we can meet up
with David at the Race four
post race celebrations to
pass on our personal
congratulations to David on
the recognition of his many
years of crewing on
Mercedes III.
While on the subject of Mercedes III, aside from handling the best
Port Phillip can throw at her, her 1967 Admirals Cup performance
records have never been bested.
