animal study conducted in Hawaii, USA demonstrated that

Fermented NONI significantly improves glucose metabolism,

with remarkable reduction in plasma glucose and insulin

levels. Another animal study concluded that Fermentation

NONI demonstrated similar blood sugar suppression

capabilities with reference standard hypoglycaemic drug,

glibenclamide.

NONI fruit has also proven a marked hepato-protective

activity. A very recent research published in Journal of

Functional Food (2000) again proved that Fermented NONI

yields liver-protective effects. The research concluded that

Fermented NONI reduced the effect of alcohol on liver

function by maintaining the liver function index in a normal
