TESTING THE SMOG DOCTOR PRODUCTS
VB26
On a diesel engine with black smoke emissions with max. 15 lt. of fuel in the tank (quickest results)
o Measure black smoke, CO, HC, NOx and all other possible parameters
o Add 1 vb26 to the fuel
o Drive the vehicle 15 minutes for every 15 liters of fuel contained in the tank
15 minutes for 15 liters
30 minutes for 30 liters, etc.
o Measure again all parameters
o Note the difference
On a diesel engine with knocking injectors
o Measure black smoke, CO, HC, NOx and all other possible parameters
o Add 1 vb26 to the fuel
o Drive 15 to 30 minutes
o Measure again all parameters
o Note the difference in emissions
o Note the difference in injector knocking
On a vehicle which failed the emission test
o Add the vb26 to the fuel (use also the vb38 in case of oil burning problems)
o Drive the vehicle 15 minutes for every 15 liters of fuel contained in the tank
15 minutes for 15 liters
30 minutes for 30 liters, etc.
o Drive to the emission test center and pass the test
VB35
On a petrol or diesel engine with emission problems
o Measure black smoke, CO, HC, NOx and all possible parameters
o Add 1 vb35 to the fuel
o Use all the fuel before refilling the tank
o Measure again all parameters
o Note the difference
On an engine lubricating system with black sludge, humidity, compressions, VVT, emission problems
o Measure black smoke, CO, HC, NOx, the compressions and all possible parameters
o Add 1 vb35 to the engine oil
o Let the engine run for minimum 15 minutes, accelerating above 1,000 rpm a few times, or drive the vehicle
for minimum 10 minutes
o Replace oil and filter
o Measure again all parameters
o Note the difference
On an automatic transmission with gear shift problems
o Add 1 vb35 to the engine oil
o Drive the vehicle for minimum 10 minutes using all gears
o Replace oil and filter
o Note the difference
On a power steering, gearbox, differential, brake system with noise, sludge, humidity problems
o Add 1 vb35 in the proportion of 10 % to the oil
o Use the system for minimum 10 minutes using all its positions
o Replace oil and filter
o Note the difference
On a completely blocked DPF or FAP filter (partially blocked see vb45)
o Dismantle the filter
o Plug one side of the filter
o Make a mixture of ½ a can of vb35 and 1850 ml. of tap water
o Fill the filter with the mixture
o Leave the filter overnight
