Mid-Tribulation Rapture

The mid-tribulation view is
that the bowl judgments
of Revelation chapters
15-16 are the wrath of God
being poured out on the
earth, and holds that
believers are taken out
before this ha‚ens.

This belief sƒs the church
experiencing the first half of the
tribulation but being spared the
worst of the tribulation in the
last thrƒ and a half years. This
view is also sometimes refe ed
to as the “pre-wrath rapture of
the church” (Revelation 6:17).

People who believe in a
mid-tribulation rapture base this
on the seventh trumpet’s sounding
at the mid-point, or the first 3 ½
years, of the Tribulation
(Revelation 11:15).

People who hold this view believe
2 TheŠalonians 2:1–3 teaches that
the Antichrist wiŽ not be clearly
known until “the abomination that
causes desolation” (Ma’hew
24:15), which o”urs at the midpoint
of the tribulation (Daniel 9:27).
