The 2012 Holiday Season is past but that doesn’t mean that gift-giving is over. Are there anniversaries, birthdays or
a need to thank someone for a special gift or their hospitality? Valentine’s Day is just ahead and don’t forget St.

Patrick’s Day for your Irish friends. Our Membership Recruitment Initiative, a.k.a. “Share the Experience,” may be
the answer for your gift-giving needs.

Don’t have any gift-giving needs on the horizon? We have an answer for that too — be a sponsor. Do you know of
anyone who may be interested in joining Friends? You can have them complete a membership form or refer them to
our website for the membership application. The forms include space to indicate the donor or sponsor of a Friends
       membership.

You’ll be rewarded for your efforts to help increase our membership and volunteer base with gift certificates for
Friends’ on-line store — the Red Web. The second quarter of the reward program is January 1 through March 31.

DO YOU HAVE YOUR RED ROCK CANYON LICENSE PLATE?

1893 Friends of Red Rock Canyon are lucky to have a charitable license plate providing

critically needed funds which support our efforts to preserve and protect the Rock. The
license plate, the first to benefit public lands administered by the BLM, was issued in
May 2008 and has generated over $140,000 in contributions.
         1893 Red Rock Canyon
Plates on the road! Trading in your existing license plate for a Red Rock Canyon License Plate results in a
$25 tax-deductible donation to Friends in the first year and a $20 donation for every year you renew the license plate.
The Red Rock Canyon License Plate can be easily transferred to your vehicle in a few simple steps. There’s no need
to wait for your current license plate to expire.

Thank you if you already have a Red Rock Canyon License Plate. And, please consider getting the license plate if
you don’t have this visible symbol of support for our special place.
