THE T.H.B.I. COMMITTMENT

True Hope Bible Institute is deeply committed to providing both quality Bible college programs for all
leaders in Christian ministry - - whether you hold staff positions or volunteer, if you lead a congregation or
are founding a ministry organization!

Our aim is to edify the student so that the Word of God is applied to his/her personal daily life and from
his/her personal spiritual experience, develop effective ministry into the lives of others.
Every Christian is called into ministry - - in so far as we are all to serve one another for the Lord’s sake, we
are all witnesses unto Jesus, and we are all given abilities in some specific area of Biblically defined
ministry. We believe that each saint is spiritually enabled to work in some area of ministry gifting as
expressed in Ephesians 4: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor or Teacher.

Our advanced degree programs are for ministerial students who desire to progress beyond the basic
(Bachelor) level in order to develop greater depths of understanding in Bible focused, Ministry of Christ
Jesus our Lord.

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT OF TRUE HOPE BIBLE INSTITUTE

1. We believe the Inspired Scriptures are the Word of God and the authoritative rule of all faith, doctrine,
and practice for the Church today.

2. We believe there is only one true living God -- Father, Son, and Holy Ghost -- Three in One and One
in Three. He is Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent.
3. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, is the
Divine Son of God, lived a sinless life, worked all manner of miracles, was striped for our healing, and
crucified for our sins. He was bodily resurrected from the dead, ascended to heaven, is sitting at the
right hand of God, and shall return to rule in the kingdom of God. He is the only Savior of all mankind.
4. All of mankind are sinners by nature and subject to eternal judgment. Man is a free moral agent to
choose salvation by repentance from sin and turning to God with faith in Christ. We may know that we
are saved and must endure to the end.

5. New converts are commanded to be baptized in water by immersion in the Name of the Father, the Son,
and the Holy Ghost.

6. We are to pray daily, study the Word often and fellowship in the Church regularly. We are to love
others, be humble, and obey God.

7. We believe in the Baptism into the Holy Ghost as a distinct endowment of power from on high for
witnessing and service. All the gifts of the Spirit are available today.

8. We believe Christ is the Foundation and Head of the church, which is made up of every born-again
believer on earth.
9. Christ is coming soon to reward His Saints and punish the wicked.

10. We believe in an endless Heaven for the redeemed and an everlasting Hell for the damned. There are
angels and demons. Angels serve from Heaven; demons are condemned to punishment in hell.
