General Details: A student must meet all the requirements for the degree being studied for. This includes
all pre-requisites, pre-admission testing, all requirements listed in this Student
Handbook and all tuitions and fees paid as agreed. NOTE: For actual costs of study
courses, see “Tuition & Fees"
Credit Requirements:

Bachelor 120 – minimum Course Catalog Required & Elective
Masters 180 – minimum total Course Catalog Required & Elective
Doctorate 240 – minimum total Course Catalog Required & Elective
Writing Requirements: Required papers are mandatory and must be completed in order for a student to
complete and graduate the Degree Study Program in which he/she is enrolled.
Required writing assignments and papers are non-optional and failure to complete
assignment or paper will result in the student’s failing the entire Degree Study
Program.
WRITING ASSIGNMENTS ARE ASSESSED AS EITHER PASS OR FAIL.
Grades and/or credit values are not awarded for writing assignments.

BACHELOR DEGREES REQUIREMENTS
Course Requirements: 120 study credits with Assigned and Elective Writing Assignments
WRITING ASSIGNMENT SCHEDULE: See – “Required Writing Assignments” section for details.
A. Required Writing Assignments
1. Essay Assignment - Essay Assignments given at about ¼ of the required study credits.
2. Positional Paper - Positional Papers assigned at about ½ of the required study credits.
3. Sermon or Lesson - Sermon/Lesson assignment given about ¾ required study credits.
4. Final Term Paper - Final Term Paper scheduled when all study credits have been completed.
B. Elective Writing Assignments:
2. Options - Various courses request written works such as essays or a treatise as part of their course
activities. While these are not mandatory, they do help the student grasp a greater understanding of
the materials.
3. Honors – Completion of “Course Essays” may award “With Honors” on a graduate’s degree
certificate and transcript.
