General  Details:    Master’s  Degrees  are  available  to  those  students  who  have  earned  a  Bachelor
                            Degree with a minimum of 120 credits in field of Biblical/Ministry Studies.
                            NOTE: A secular Bachelor’s Degree that is not in a Biblical/Ministry field of study
                            fails to meet the requirements for a THBI Master’s Degree.
        Credit Requirements:  Master’s  degrees  require  an  additional  minimum  of  60  credits  for  a  minimum
                                total of 180 credits.

        Fields of Study:  True Hope Bible Institute offers Master’s Degrees in THREE fields of study:
                         Biblical Studies          Christian Ministries         Biblical Theology

        Writing Assignments:  Required papers are mandatory and must be completed in order for a student to
        complete and graduate the Degree Study Program in which he/she is enrolled.  Required writing
        assignments and papers are non-optional and failure to complete assignment or paper will result in the
        student’s failing the entire Degree Study Program.
        Graduate Thesis:      A written thesis with a “Favorable Review” (passing) is required to complete the
                              Doctoral Degree program.  see:  “Appendix A” for Thesis Guidelines.

        WRITING ASSIGNMENT SCHEDULE: See – “Required Writing Assignments” section for details.

        A.  Required Writing Assignments
           1.  Admissions Paper - Due at enrollment:  Required for all new THBI students eligible to enter at
                                   the Master’s Degree level.
                                   Exemption: The final term paper with a “passing review” of a prior THBI
                                   bachelor’s degree student shall be credited for this requirement.
            2. Mid-term Paper - -  Mid-term Papers assigned at point of about ½ of the required study credits.
            3. Master’s Thesis - -  Thesis preparation shall begin after completion of all required study credits.
               NOTE:  The “Master’s Thesis” must receive a passing review in order to receive an exemption
               from the “Admissions Paper” requirement should you choose to enroll in one of the Doctoral
               Degree Programs of THBI.
        B.  Elective Writing Assignments:
            1.  Options -   Various courses include written works such as essays or other treatise which, while not
                            mandatory, they do help the student grasp a greater understanding of the materials.
            2.  Honors -    Completion of “Course Essays” may award “With Honors” on a graduate’s degree
                            certificate and transcript.
