the flight simulator of the same aircraft that is used for actual Flight Lab. They also get to see a

Trainer aircraft in the Aerospace Engineering Lab to get a physical feel of the aircraft size, its
control surfaces, cockpit etc. Then visit Kanpur IIT with the objective of

              ● Flight instrument reading and subsequent calculation

              ● Instrument calibration
              ● Flying experience

Management and Commerce students were given the opportunity to visit five notable industries

like AMUL, BLUE STAR, RAMDEV SNACKS, AGI & CONCOR; where they learnt about each one’s
functioning, developments, products and operations. Science students are taken to various

industrial as well as research organizations. Students have visited various organizations like
Gauribidanur Radio Observatory, Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), Mayas Food Factory,

Sandal soap factory, Sartorius Biotech, Rourkela Steel plant, Anthem Biosciences, Forensic Science

      Laboratories, and the like.

      Evidence of Success:

The outcomes are practical knowledge, appreciation of learnings in lecture classes, concept of
movement of center of gravity of aircraft. They are found to be effective in enhancing self-

development, social and cultural development and teamwork and leadership. It enhances personal
efficiency. It has enabled cohesiveness, and receptiveness to learning.

Students were given an opportunity to visit the factory of the famous “Tiger Beer” and were given

an in-depth on how the beer is prepared, stored and then distributed. The government of
Singapore is popular for its efficiency. One of the most efficient processes that the government

carries out is the recycling of their own water. New water plant is a centre which recycles all the

water in Singapore. The students were also part of learning sessions in two Universities. The first
session in the Management Development Institute of Singapore which broadened the students

perspective on some innovative marketing techniques. The second session was hosted by the

Singapore Management University and the students were given an insight into the core of
leadership based on Jack Welsh’s principles and practices. It provided student’s wholesome

exposure to different cultures all while providing a global perspective that helped put their

learning into practice. Students visited the plants of BMW and Mercedes where they saw the
automated assembly line and other stages of an automobile manufacturing process. The outcomes

      are:

           ● Provides an exposure to students about the practical working environment in industries.
