Be Open to Fellow Travellers
We need to recruit fellow travellers on this journey to victory. But who are they? They are our clients (especially their marketing department) and their internal stakeholders, be it front line staff, the IT and legal departments, or agency partners.
These fellow travellers are pivotal to a successful campaign, as communications and marketing can no longer be an afterthought if the desired outcome is a seamless innovative consumer experience. It is the coming together of these varied skill sets that enables the creation of
innovative ideas and experiences. Some good examples of this include:
Connecting with the legal department to navigate through the legalities of using personal data to create a personalised consumer experience.
Working with creative agencies to craft dynamic data driven creatives.
Creating a strong technological infrastructure together with the IT department.
