TEXAS POLICE ASSOCIATION

June 30, 2021

WHEREAS, during the past year we have learned of the death of: James B. Adams,
Kerrville; Dearl F. Croft, Round Rock; Larry Coutorie, Irving; Jim Fuller, Rockwall; Kyle B. Hale,
Forney; James M. Hallman, Odessa; Curtis W. Holden, El Paso; Alvin D. Johnson, Pampa;
Johnny E. Lovejoy, II, Helotes; William R. McDaniel, Montgomery; Thomas M. O’Maley,
Carmichael, CA; J. D. Phipps, Waco; Robert Ramsey, Dallas; Frank M. Schull, Clarksville, AR;
Gerald P. Smith, Farmers Branch; Donald E. Stutsman, Moran; John A. Thompson, Longview;
Marvin W. Trejo, Dumas; Harry E. Wetz, Jr., San Antonio; and William W. Wilson, Springtown;

WHEREAS, we deeply regret the passing of these dedicated officers and loyal members
of our Association; and

WHEREAS, our Association and profession has suffered a great loss in the death of
these fine officers;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the members of the Texas Police
Association, in session, assembled at College Station, Texas on this the 30 th day of June 2021,
unanimously go on record as expressing our great sorrow in the loss of these members of our
Association and hereby extend to each of the families our sincerest heartfelt sympathy.
