TPA Past President Mac Tristan to be inducted into the
Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership Hall of Fame.

What’s the antidote to a world that seemingly appears harsh, rife with conflict, and sorely
lacking of effective leadership? The answer can be found in a room full of servant leaders
and servant-led organizations that embody compassion and empathy for others, bridge
divides to find common ground, and fill the vacuum left by insufficient and inadequate
leadership responses to vexing challenges palpable throughout society. The second annual
Servant Leader Hall of Fame awards ceremony, sponsored by the Robert K. Greenleaf
Center for Servant Leadership at Seton Hall University, will once again showcase the
remarkable works and selfless acts of individuals and organizations who always seek to
serve in impactful ways to address some of society’s most pressing needs.

Among the 2023 honorees is retired Coppell Chief of Police, Mac Tristan. Mac is a 38-
year law enforcement veteran with over 25 years of command rank experience who has
successfully led and transformed the cultures of two police organizations. He began his
career with the Carrollton, Texas Police Department, and rose through the ranks before
leaving as an Assistant Police Chief after 30 years of service. Mac left Carrollton to become
the Coppell, Texas Chief of Police in January 2011, serving for eight years before retiring
        in November 2018.
