Driven Spun Prestressed Concrete Piles for

Bedrock Greater Than 12m Depth

1. Prestressed spun concrete pipe piles varying from 300mm to 600mm dia.

2. Manufactured with Grade 80 concrete.

3. These piles function at considerably higher stresses than caissons.

4. Coupled with significantly longer penetration lengths, this leads to

possible reduced pile axial and foundation stiffness when compared

those parts with caissons on shallow bedrock – possible non-uniform

building settlements due to stiffness contrast between the 2 systems.
