8. Backfilling of Borehole and Borehole Marker

a. Backfilled with free-flowing sand or silt

b. Refer to MS 2038 : 2006 Clause 4.2.9

c. Size of concrete base : 300mmm x 300mm x

300mm

d. Minimum length of perforated PVC pipe :
5.0m including exposed 0.5m above ground.

e. The marking of the borehole must be clearly

labelled, colored and permanent (at PVC

pipe and/or concrete base)
