Summary of Programme
for Year 9:
Year 9 provides an opportunity

source material, they will practise
their language skills and build
vocabulary. Classes tend to be
small with ample individual
attention given.
Does the Year 9 course include
any elements of the GCSE?
Everything students learn in Year
9 will be relevant to the vocabulary
and grammatical skills needed for
GCSE.

course gives students a good
grounding in mathematical
concepts and fluency and
prepares them well for A Level
mathematics should they choose
to pursue this beyond
Year 11.
Does the Year 9 course include
any elements of the GCSE?
The Year 9 course is the first
year of a three-year scheme of
work culminating in the IGCSE
