Destinations Programme
The 2025 UCAS cycle saw 110 applications sent to UCAS. Offers have been rolling in daily, and it is
great to see the excitement on all of the students’ faces as they start to make their final decisions on
their firm and insurance offers.
As the cycle has ended for 2025, the attention
now turns to our current Year 12 cohort.
Students attended the UK University and
Apprenticeship Fair at the AMEX stadium on 26th
March. Representatives from most universities
were present, as were companies that offer
apprenticeships and some great seminars on the
UCAS process. We are looking forward to getting
Year 12 students signed up to the UCAS website
when it opens for 2026 in late May. For those not
intending to apply to university, students can access
their Morrisby accounts to look at post 18 options
and book in to see our Head of Careers, Angela
Loten, to discuss their next steps.
On the Oxbridge front, we were delighted that Freya
Austin, Amy Allison and Ollie Bagley have received
offers from the University of Oxford. Freya and Ollie
are planning to read Biology and Amy is planning to
read Law. Freya and Amy also have offers from other
Russell Group universities. Freya has offers from
Durham, Exeter, Nottingham and Southampton,
and Amy has offers from Durham, Exeter, Leeds and
Nottingham.
