Giraffe Feedings

The chance to get eye to eye with the tallest
mammals on Earth is back. For the third summer
in a row, Brookfield Zoo is offering its popular
Giraffe Feeding experience. For $10, guests will
receive a handful of leafy greens, which they can
directly feed to one of our giraffes. The experience
occurs daily (weather permitting) from 10:30
a.m. to noon and 1 to 2:30 p.m., or until greens
run out, at Habitat Africa! The Savannah.

Zoo Chats

Have you ever wondered what gorillas
like to eat? Or how animal care staff
interact with polar bears? Or how and
why monarch butterflies migrate?

Zoo Chats that address all these
questions—and more—are occurring all
day, every day throughout Brookfield Zoo.
Animal care staff hold these quick, informal
chats to educate guests about specific
animals, along with the zoo’s mission and
conservation efforts.

your favorite animal—or maybe to learn
more about an animal you’re unfamiliar
with—check out the Zoo Chats schedule
at CZS.org/ZooChats. And, as always,
keep your eye out for some of our Animal
Ambassadors—these critters can pop up
with their animal care specialists anywhere
around the zoo, at any time.
