P. 34
Final Welcome As an employee and an employer, we both have expec-
tations of each other. We hope many of your responsibilities and rights have
been clarified for you in this handbook. There is no substitute, however, for
open and continued dialogue. Please continue to seek information about the
Chicago Zoological Society, your department, your job, and the Society’s
important work, and ask questions if you need information. The more you
know, the more effective and helpful you will be in your job, the more you
can grow and contribute, and the better you can serve our over 2 million
zoo guests each year. We welcome your questions and will provide the best
answers we can. We hope you will continue to grow in your job and thereby
help us to grow and be successful as an organization, so that the important
purpose and traditions of the Chicago Zoological Society may continue and
take us to even greater heights. Welcome aboard!
