GIRAFFE FEEDING
        EXPERIENCE

        Outside HABITAT AFRICA! THE SAVANNAH

        Would you like to have the world’s tallest
        mammal eating out of the palm of your hand?
           This summer, Brookfield Zoo guests have
        an opportunity to feed a reticulated giraffe.
        You’ll receive a handful of succulent, leafy greens.
        With an animal care specialist looking on, you
        will offer the treat to one of our gentle giants.
           Our Giraffe Feeding Experience is a
        great way to connect with these majestic
        animals and learn their conservation story.

          Feeding sessions occur twice daily (weather
          permitting), from 10:30 a.m. to noon
          and again from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
          DAILY: May 29 through October 3
          WEEKENDS: October 9 through October 31
          PLUS: Columbus Day (Monday, October 11)
          The cost is $10 per feeding or bundle of food.

                                                              This year’s main theme, “Bring the World Home,” is based

                                                              Both industry experts and teen presenters will explore various

                                                               innovation, and youth action. Representing a variety of
                                                               perspectives, speakers approach conservation in novel ways.
                                                                  Attendees will leave this event feeling inspired and confident
                                                                in their ability to take action. The conference will also cover
                                                                volunteer and internship opportunities that can help them
                                                                sharpen their leadership and college/career readiness skills.
                                                                   The three-day event is open to teenagers, ages 14 to 19, all over
                                                                 Chicagoland. Since this year’s conference will be virtual, teens
                                                                 from anywhere in the world can participate. For registration
