Greetings,
Planning ahead pays off. So, we decided to take a long look
into the future to see what farmers, agribusinesses, food
companies, and investors see on their horizons over the next
21 years.
Why look so far ahead? We wanted to provide a planning
horizon that enables companies, organizations and lawmakers
to start thinking about how our industry is changing and what
new policies and programs might be needed. We know that
changes in strategies and related policy outcomes often take more than a decade or
two to achieve.
This seven-part series explores some of the trends already advancing in American
agriculture, plus unveils groundbreaking research that points to many more
significant changes ahead. We take you all the way from the farm gate to the ever-
changing food plate with lots of interesting perspectives along the way.
