Stan Lee

STRONG – AMAZING - CREATIVE

Stanley Martin Lieber was born on December 28th, 1922 in
Manhattan, New York, in the United States. Stan Lee is extremely
well known for the many movies, comics and characters he made for

Marvel Studios, (a huge American movie and comic production
studio).

Family background

Stanley Martin Lieber grew up in Washington Heights and the Bronx
to Romanian immigrants Celia and Jack Lieber. With part of his
childhood spent during the Great Depression, Lieber and his younger

brother, Larry, watched his parents to make money for the family.

Education
Stan Lee attended DeWitt Clinton Highschool in the Bronx. In his

youth, Lee enjoyed writing and entertained dreams of writing the
"Great American novel" one day.

Achievements
Stan Lee made and scripted many movies for Marvel Studios
including the very famous, the amazing, Spider-man, The Hulk, X-

Men, The Avengers and more. Lee created at least 98 movies for
Marvel before he retired in the 1990s. In 2002 he received the Life
Career Award.

Family

Stan Lee had two daughters, Joan and Jan Lee. His wife's name was
Joan Boocock Lee before she passed away 2017. Stan soon followed,
passing away, 12th of November 2018 at the age of 95. He shall be
remembered.

Stan changed the movie world, in his own unique way with is

amazing characters. He was loved by many.
