ministry. Since God is not the author of confusion (and He knows where you and your ministry are spiritually), it would never be His will to send someone to work along- side you whose plan and purpose is to minister “truths” they feel they must “push” on others working with you, even when they know what they are sharing is contrary to your vision and ministry.
This doesn’t mean potential staff members must change any of their beliefs, it means they must submit to the leadership of the ministry they are working with. They can still carry their beliefs in their hearts and practice them with their families. But one thing is certain, God did not send them to you to “undermine” your ministry, or to “sow discord” among your staff, or those with whom you are working.
If there are those who want to come and work with you who feel they must share what they believe God has laid on their hearts, even though it is contrary to your vi- sion and ministry, I would share with them that it doesn’t necessarily mean they are wrong in what they believe,
but they are definitely wrong in thinking they have been called to join you, so they can use what God has given you as a platform to bring dissension.
If they are unwilling to be accountable to the ministry they say God has called them to serve, then they should no longer be considered as a candidate for a staff position with that ministry.
As I write these lines, I am still very much in need of staff members. As the ministry grows around the world, so our need for staff grows. But one thing is for sure, we are all better off with “no one” on staff than we are to have “someone” who hinders our vision from being fulfilled.
