desiring to work with you concerning their responsibility to meeting “your” staff guidelines. They must know exact- ly what their position in your ministry will be as well as their responsibilities.
3. They must be willing to follow your leadership as you walk “the walk” together.
This includes more than just walking “the walk” when they are in your presence. This may be easy for them to do when you are with them, and they are seeking your approval. However, they must be willing to walk continu- ally in submission to your leadership even if they are in a different city, state, or another country somewhere on our planet earth. Your staff members must respect your lead- ership at all times, as well as to continue to abide by the guidelines to which they agreed when they united with your ministry.
4. They must be willing to only minister “within the parameters of your vision” during your walk together.
This should never be considered as an optional re- quirement. This must be an absolute requirement!!!
Since it is man and not God who is the author of con- fusion, adhering to this one guideline will help to insure that your ministry continues in the vein of thought that God has directed you.
It is important that your potential staff members un- derstand that they can work with you on your staff, even if there are areas in which they believe differently than you. All that is necessary is for them to “agree to your walk.” This does not mean they must compromise in what they believe, but it does mean they must be willing to keep to themselves any doctrines which are different from yours, so there will be no contention or confusion in your
