1971-72 Ford Pinto Manual Rack and Pinion FLAFR1501
Dimensionally identical to the 1971-72 Pinto unit, this is a completely new unit to meet the needs of drag racing chas- sis builders. Durable, lightweight aluminum casting has a chrome-plated center tube. Weighs just 12 lbs., with 3.75 turns lock-to-lock.

A direct bolt-in replacement for 1979-93 Mustang. Ideal for the enthusiast who wishes to drop over 30 lbs. of front end weight, eliminate the horsepower-robbing power steering pump, and convert to manual steering. High-quality alumi- num casting has two mounting holes and a chrome-plated center tube. Complete unit weighs just 14 lbs. Steering ratio is 20:1 and has 3.75 turns lock-to-lock. Outer ends and shaft kit (or adapter) required for installation. Unit may be pur- chased separately, or as a kit. Deluxe kit includes rack and pinion, needle bearing U-joint, shaft kit, manual tie rod ends, and two-piece mounting bushings.
