"Comedy Is Something That
Comes Naturally To Me"
It has been almost five years since you started
this journey. How does one maintain their
authenticity in this fast-growing and overly
competitive social media world?
I think that it is a person’s individuality that
helps you maintain your calm in this ever-
growing world of content creators. One
cannot put up a fake face and expect the
viewers to believe that. The viewers are really
smart and can see right through you. It is best
that the person projects their true personality.
As for me, I keep a notepad and pen with me
all the time. I jot things that I see, feel, and
find relatable in all walks of life, and then I
make videos about that. The only way I think
of making it in this space is having your own
take on the content. Nobody can be exactly
the same as someone else, so there is no
competition at all.
There are a number of genres out there; why
did you specifically choose comedy?
When I was just starting, I knew that beauty,
or music, or even DIYs weren’t my cup of tea.
Comedy was something that naturally came
to me. Back in time, I used to write blogs
using funny instances of my own life and
enjoyed doing that. So, that was a perspective
I thought I could shoot a shot at. However,
now I have started working with more genres.
I recently dabbled a little with music in my
music videos ‘Shameless’ and ‘No Offense.’ I
enjoyed it and will try to make more of the
musical content in the future.
Over these years, you have achieved a lot.
There has been a number of milestones that
you have achieved. Which is one milestone
that stood out for you?
I am very lucky that I have had so many
milestones in my career. Everything has
taught me something new. As an example,
the first-ever video that went viral was ’10
hilarious words that Delhites use.’ While the
video got viral, I also received many negative
