1. Select Child in the Parent/Child field.
2. Enter the Parent ID.
3. Click the Save button.
An Asset ID is assigned when you save the child asset.

Navigator > Asset Management > Search for an Asset
Searching for Child Assets by Parent Asset
It’s likely a research building parent has hundreds of related child assets. Compass only returns the first 300
search results. The more search criteria you enter, the more precise and narrow your search results.
