Using WorkCenters

        How do I Use WorkCenters?

        Overview

Emory’s WorkCenters functionality offers a one-stop shop for Compass users. Tasks and data that used to take several
navigation clicks to access is available from a single page. Access specific WorkCenters will depend on your job duties and
Compass security profile. You will only see the WorkCenters for the modules that you have permission to view. If your job
requires – or does not require access to a Compass page, such access will be reflected in the WorkCenter.
WorkCenters are module-specific and there are 8 total: Asset Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,
Billing, Expenses, General Ledger, Grants and Treasury.
Access to existing Compass pages will remain available through traditional navigation paths. You may continue to
navigate to pages the traditional way, if you prefer. However, sections under MyWork will only be available through the
        WorkCenter.

        Navigation

 You can also access a WorkCenter from the module submenu (i.e., Navigator >

               Accounts Receivable > Receivables WorkCenter).
