Creating Customer Contacts


                  If the name is found, select the contact and add a link to another customer. Refer to the Link a Contact to a Customer
                   section in this job aid.
                 If the name is not found, continue with the Add a New Contact procedure.
        Add a New Contact


                                                  1. Click the Add a New Value tab.

                                                  2. Click the Look Up Set ID icon to search for your
                                                      Business Unit.

                            2                     3. Accept the default of NEXT for the Contact ID. Compass
                                   3                  automatically assigns the ID number.

              4                                   4. Click the Add button.

                                                   The Maintain Contacts page is displayed.





        Enter Contact Information.
        Fields with an asterisk are required.

        1.  * Enter the full Name.

        2.  Enter the Email Address.

        3.  * Click the Contact Flag drop list to define the contact type:

               External Contact: a non-Emory person.
               Internal Contact: an Emory employee.
