Accessing the Reporting Library

Reporting Library Tab Description
EBI Summary Displays the summary information about the report such as
short description, long description and report type.

Navigation Provides the navigation to access the report in the EBI

system, as well as instructions on how to do the navigation.

Revisions Displays the description of any revision made to the report as
well as the date the revision was made and who made the
revision.
nVision Summary Displays the summary information about the report such as
the layout name, layout type, business unit and scope as well

as a short description, long description and any additional
comments.

Detail Displays the detail information used to build the report such
as the ledgers, time spans, queries, and trees. This tab is
helpful for those that build nVision reports.

Revisions Displays the description of any revision made to the report as
well as the date the revision was made and who made the
revision.
Query Summary Displays the summary information about the report such as
the query name and query folder. It also shows the old query

name and old folder name used prior to the Compass 9.2.
Additional information includes a short description, long
description and any statistical information regarding the
report.
Detail Displays the detail information about the report such as the
report columns and their order as well as the records used to
build the report. In addition, it shows the report selection
criteria and prompts that need to be entered for the report
to run. This tab is especially helpful for those that build query
reports.
Revisions Displays the description of any revision made to the report as
well as the date the revision was made and who made the
revision.
SQR Summary Displays the summary information about the report such as
the report title, if the output is PDF and/or csv, the module of

the report and the PeopleSoft navigation used to find the
report. Additional information includes a long description
and comments for the report.
Run Control Displays a picture of the run control for the report. The run
control on this tab is display only and shows the
selection/exclusion criteria that can be entered to run the
report.
