How do I Resubmit a Returned Cart?
Overview
Emory Express carts may be returned by your approver for edits or at the Purchase Requisition (PR) Validation approval step when submitted. If the cart fails PR Validation, the cart returns as a draft cart. PR Validation confirms the following:
• Activity status is open
• Account code is valid
• Vendor is authorized for transactions
• Purchases on activities ending in 0-60 days are validated through the Grant Purchase Validation step
• Capital Equipment documentation is complete

Accessing a Returned Cart

1. Click the applicable Shopping Cart Name. The Summary page displays.
