Campaign Goal
A dedicated community center building at the Westmoreland Park
Skatepark will serve as the heart of the park, providing essential restrooms,
a welcoming gathering space, and a hub for youth programs, lessons,
and community events.
Beyond meeting basic needs for visitors, the building creates
opportunities for mentorship, education, and positive engagement that
extend far beyond skateboarding. With the potential to generate
revenue through a small pro shop, concessions, or event rentals, the
facility can also help sustain the park’s operations and programming for
years to come. More than just a support facility, this building will help
create a safe, vibrant space where young people and families can
gather, connect, and grow together.
